It is known that India is one of the main customers in Russia of military Su-30 fighter aircrafts. Business relations in this direction between the countries are maintained since 2002. But happy from results of such relations only Moscow while Delhi already regrets that signed military contracts.

As it became known, from 210 fighters which for the
last 13 years Moscow delivered to India, 117 or are unsuitable for full
flights, or aren't capable to rise in air at all. In a condition of relative
fighting capacity there are only 55% of all Russian Su-30 which India has on
the arms. Since 2002 the Air Force of India lost 6 fighters which had technical
malfunctions in air.
India appealed to Comptroller and Auditor General
agency to conduct technical research. After careful audit of the Russian
equipment following the results of check the detailed report was made.
According to the report, the Russian planes have:
▪ system malfunctions in system of electronics;
▪ unsatisfactory work of system of detection of a
radar of the opponent;
▪ bad quality of spare parts for planes;
▪ unacceptable logistics of deliveries of spare parts
that at frequent breakages of the Russian fighters creates additional
difficulties of operation of SU-30.
The report of Comptroller and Auditor General agency
created quite ticklish situation on the eve of preparation of the Kremlin for
the forthcoming visit to Moscow of Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India.
But at Modi there will be a good subject for conversation with Putin.
